Penmorfa was a holiday home, built in 1862 by Alice Liddell's father, Dean Henry Liddell. The house was extended over the years and became the Gogarth Abbey Hotel. The bulding was demolished in 2008 and replaced with a block of luxury flats.
The man standing at the front of the building is thought to be Lewis Carroll
